Black Bean Brownie Recipe-

Dairy Free & Gluten Free

This recipe makes 12 brownies

Black beans are a great source of protein and fiber. Black beans are naturally low in sodium and contain potassium, calcium and magnesium all which can help to lower your blood pressure. They are great at making you feel full which can make you feel full longer helping to lower your overall calorie intake. So why not bake with black beans for a healthier alternative.

 

Ingredients:

  • 15 oz can black beans (rinsed and drained)

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup GF oats

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (buy ours below)

  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 cup allergen chocolate chips- add in last

  • (Allergen fee nestle chocolate chips or enjoy life have great DF chips)



Let’s Get Started-


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips in a food processor and blend until smooth.

After smooth, add in chocolate chips.

Grease a 8X8 pan with coconut oil or olive oil.

Sprinkle with more chocolate chips on top if desired.

Bake 15-18 minutes

Let cool for 10 minutes and Enjoy!
